BOY XANDER (2) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1200m at this track after being in the firing line all the way. Has good early pace. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SINCEFOON HERO (6) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 1.75 lengths over 1200m at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and this looks well within his grasp. DANCING LIGHT (1) was second up last start and went close, beaten a neck into second at this track over 1020m. Should be nearing his peak at this stage of the campaign. PACIFIC MV (8) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 10 lengths away in seventh over 1200m at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest.
