MARNIER (2) was beaten just a nose last start when second in a small field over 2300m at Great Yarmouth. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with two placings from three starts. Should be in the finish. TRIPLE GEE (3) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 2.25 lengths into second over 2400m at Chepstow. Should be poised just off the lead. Best figures should see him run well. BEDFORD (1) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 17 lengths when eighth over 2000m at Newbury three-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the turn. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to be prominent.
