LATIN FIVE (6) knuckled down strongly to get within half a length of the winner in third last start over 1000m at Catterick. Will drift back but wind up late. Will prove tough to beat. LADY OF THE GARR (7) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 20 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 1200m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to take this out. SUGAR BABY (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when seventh in a 1000m contest at Musselburgh two-and-a-half weeks ago. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MATCH PLAY (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1000m at Nottingham, beaten 1.4 lengths into fourth. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
