GLIMMER OF LIGHT (1) resumed from a spell last start with a sound third over 2380m at Leicester after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to go a couple better. BILLY BATHGATE (4) meets a moderate line-up and tends to run well at the trip finishing in the frame six of nine tries. Well placed this line up and merits respect on best figures. DUBAI VENTURE (5) is a last-start winner four weeks ago, scoring by a nose over 2400m at Pontefract. One of the better chances.
