HIGHLAND OLLY (4) improved sharply on his seventh two starts back at Thirsk with success over 1700m at Nottingham two weeks ago, getting home by half a length after being in contention on the bend. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of another big performance. CAPTAIN CORELLI (3) returns from a spell of eight months. Closed off last prep in great form including a dominant win over 1500m at Beverley at his most recent appearance. Has a strong association with Tom Kiely-Marshall who has been in the saddle for his last two wins. Sure to run well. COMMANDER OF LIFE (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1600m at Wetherby, beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong prospects. PARIS LIGHTS (2) ran below expectations last time at Wetherby, finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths. Worth another chance.
