That result followed a solid second in the G3 Mercedes-Benz Novice Hurdle (4800m) at Clonmel two starts ago. Should be there at the business end. INTENSE APPROACH (2) is looking to improve after he failed to complete the course in the G1 Spa Novices Hurdle (4800m) at Cheltenham on March 14. Capable of taking this out. HORACES PEARL (6) scored in a hurdle (4100m) at Newbury two runs ago then didn't back it up when beaten 9 lengths into fifth last start in the G1 Mersey Novices Hurdle (4000m) at Aintree. Has the right credentials. GO WEST (5) is an in-form jumper who was impressive last start, albeit in an easier race, taking out in a hurdle (4200m) at Kempton Park on April 1. Partnered again by Harry Cobden who is building a great record when aboard. Looms as a serious contender.
