Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. FRUIT HUNTER (4) started at $5.25 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 2.75 lengths at San Isidro over 1400m. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. EMERALD JOHN (2) was fresh from a four months break last start and scored by 4 lengths at this track. Has a fair record at this track with a win and two placings. Winning rider Cobian Lucas J Noriega stays aboard. One of the contenders. LOMO PLATEADO (8) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
