SAYONO TRADER (1) is racing well, scoring two back at this track before finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in third last time over 1800m at this track. Winning rider Takayuki Yano sticks. Should be hard to stop. PALERMO (8) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with a win over 1650m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 4 lengths. Ryo Novata scored on him last time and retains the mount. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to score again. ABENIN SMILE (9) proved too strong two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when sixth over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 8 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
