Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 1600m at Thirsk, beaten 5.5 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. RUSSIAN VIRTUE (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at Carlisle over 3400m. Has the class to figure prominently. MISEMERALD (2) returned from a spell two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth over 1400m at Catterick. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
