BERGERAC (5) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at York two starts back then got the job done by 0.8 lengths last time out over 1000m at Hamilton Park. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. VINTAGE CLARETS (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fifth in a 1000m contest at Epsom Downs three weeks ago after being in the firing line on the turn. This is a nice drop in grade so he is set to turn things around. BADRI (6) ran a better race last start when he made late ground to finish a close third over 1200m at Epsom Downs after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has the talent to produce another positive result. ELEGANT ERIN (13) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 1.5 lengths from the winner in second over 1000m at Nottingham. Deserves to break through and she must be respected.
