This is a nice drop in grade so she is one of the main contenders. MISS FLADGATE (6) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1200m at Ellerslie. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. PARAVANE (10) is a locally trained maiden galloper resuming from a spell after finishing fifth over 1200m at Te Rapa at the latest appearance on December 21. Winner of a recent trial. Should be involved in the finish. FLUTTERBELLE (1) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1200m at Hawera, beaten 1.5 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so she is likely to play a big role.
