VADAHI (8) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 1400m at Ruakaka. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. VOLUNTEER (4) has not raced since his debut back on November 12 when he finished fifth over 1150m at Te Aroha. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up. BEAU LUCA (1) is yet to break through but has been in the money three times including last start when third over 1200m at Pukekohe. Has a good record at this distance with three top-three results from six starts. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Must be respected.
