KOVROV (5) turned in a fine effort to win by 3 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is good enough to play a major role. DAR TOUNGI (3) finished sixth last time out over 2000m at Toulouse, beaten 7 lengths. Will be hard to beat. BAY D'ARGENT (6) was thereabouts last time out when third over 1800m at Marseille-Borely. Has three wins at the trip. One of the better hopes. CAMBRONNE (1) built on a nice third two starts back in Listed grade at Longchamp with success over 1800m at Marseille-Borely seven weeks ago, getting home by one length. Nicely placed to take this out.
