EL COMANDANTE (4) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1200m at Nimes after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. I DARE (10) finished 2.75 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 1200m at Nimes, an improvement on her seventh at this track the run before. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is up to the challenge. IDAHO JAMES (2) made progress last start to finish second over 1500m at Marseille Vivaux. Suitably placed so he can figure again.
