PURPLE RAIN (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2 lengths over 1400m at this track. Tackling a more suitable race so he is perfectly placed to score. ON LOCKDOWN (7) finished fifth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten only 0.7 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
