Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. KALIK (4) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fifth in a 1200m contest at Chelmsford two-and-a-half weeks ago. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. GEMINI STAR (5) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Leicester but raced below expectations last time over 1200m at Doncaster, finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths. Has her share of ability and can do a lot better.
