DANTE'S SEVEN (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was never in contention over 1200m at Funabashi, beaten 9 lengths into seventh. Likely improver with strong prospects. MEISHO FELIO (9) got well back over 1400m at Urawa last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 12 lengths away in tenth. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. EXCEL BLACK (6) is a four-year-old entire who is still a maiden after 13 starts but has been in the placings three times. Safely held when resuming last start over 1500m at this track, finishing 11th and beaten 7 lengths. Does boast a solid record at the second run back. Solid contender in this line up.
