DAY DAY VICTORY (11) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end but missed the frame most recently when seventh over 1000m at this track. Alex Badel who has two wins when partnering stays on. Best form puts him right in this. SPICY SPANGLE (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start when he worked home well but found a couple better over 1000m at this track, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. CANDLELIGHT DINNER (2) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1200m at this track. Expected to be in the finish.
