TROPICAL ISLAND (3) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 2.25 lengths over 1200m at Ripon. Will be better for that latest run and looms as the one to beat again. KORKER (1) knuckled down strongly to get within 1.5 lengths of the winner in third last start over 1200m at York. Can measure up. FAHRENHEIT SEVEN (6) was a winner two back at Pontefract then was competitive last time when fourth over 1400m at Newmarket (Rowley), beaten only 1.75 lengths. Should be thereabouts again. VANTHEMAN (5) has been in the market at his last couple of starts since resuming but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing 11th over 1000m at York. Well-placed and can sneak into the finish.
