DOTHAN (2) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1000m at Doncaster, scoring by a nose. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and a bold showing is expected. LARCHILL LASS (12) turned in a much better effort last start when beaten only half a length into second at Beverley over 1000m. Sure to go well again. MILITARY GIRL (7) ran well below her best last time over 1000m at Nottingham, beaten 10 lengths into sixth at $4.50. Connor Beasley who has two wins when partnering stays on. Should be involved in the finish. LORD ROXBY (1) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 6 lengths away in fifth over 1200m at Doncaster. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
