LORD FONS (10) returns after a spell of ten weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Sure to make his presence felt. SHAMAL (5) is progressing well this preparation. Opened with a fourth at Nagoya two starts back then scored by 4 lengths last time out after being prominent at the turn over 1400m at Kochi. Meets some better types this time but another win beckons. WILLIAM BAROWS (3) returns from a spell of ten weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when 13th over 1600m in the G1 February Stakes at Tokyo Dirt. Has the speed to be prominent. Not to be discounted.
