DESERT HALO (1) returns from a 78-day spell. Concluded the last campaign finishing fourth in a hurdle (3300m) at Taunton, beaten 13 lengths. Yet to win over the obstacles from nine starts. Ideally placed to perform well. GORCOMBE MOONSHINE (5) did a reasonable job when he finished third in a hurdle (4110m) at Plumpton two runs back. Less effective last time when 40 lengths away in tenth in a hurdle (4700m) at Chepstow. Cannot be dismissed.
