Last start he was eased out of the race in a LR steeplechase (4400m) at Auteuil. Ideally placed to find the winner's stall. LE GRAND JOUR (2) is resuming from a lengthy break. Started just once last preparation, finishing ninth in a hurdle (3900m) at Auteuil. Worth plenty of thought. STYLE DE WAY (10) did a reasonable job when he finished second in a hurdle (3600m) at Auteuil two runs back. Less effective last time when 23 lengths away in sixth in a steeplechase (4700m) at Nancy. Will be tough to beat. KARASTIC (4) unfortunately did not finish the race on his jumps debut in a hurdle (3900m) at Bordeaux. Sure to make his presence felt.
