Safely held when resuming last start over 1600m at Mont-de-Marsan, finishing seventh and beaten 12 lengths. Has winning claims on best figures. WARD (7) was fair on debut last time out when sixth over 1900m at La Teste De Buch. Should appreciate the extra ground. Open to improvement and looks a contender.
