YULIA (9) wasn't far away on debut last start over 2400m at Lyon-Parilly, finishing second and beaten a head. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. CALAMANDRA (10) is a first-starter by New Bay from Calayana who has in turn produced the winner of a black type. SEINE (8) debuted five weeks ago when she finished fourth over 2100m at Longchamp, beaten 6 lengths. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up. HIGHARA (4) finished second last time over 2400m at Saint-Cloud, beaten 1.5 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects.
