SPORTINGSILVERMINE (1) is a talented type yet to taste defeat after two runs this campaign, the latest over 2500m at Musselburgh. Hard to fault on recent runs. SMALL FRY (2) finished third when resuming from a spell last start over 2400m at Epsom Downs. Looks to have an edge on most of these. OBSIDIAN KNIGHT (7) performed above expectations last time over 2400m at Lingfield All Weather, getting the prize by a head. Capable of another bold performance. SHAHBAZ (6) won at Chelmsford two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing eighth over 2400m at Lingfield All Weather. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
