ROAD TO WEMBLEY (10) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a head from the winner in second over 2900m at Doncaster after being in the firing line on the corner. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. CARLTON (12) resumed over 3200m at this track last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Fitter for that last hitout and appeals as a solid top-three hope.
