ZEPHLYN (1) built on a nice third two starts back at Ayr with a win over 3200m at this track a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. QUERCUS ROBUR (5) finished fifth two runs back at Newcastle All Weather then improved last time out to score by 1.75 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner over 4340m at Pontefract. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. CAPTAIN POTTER (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a head over 3260m at Newcastle All Weather after being in contention on the corner. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. ZOOKS (6) is building towards a win with placings at her last two runs, the latest effort a third over 2800m at Wolverhampton when beaten 2.25 lengths. Should park just off the speed. One of the better hopes.
