Steps up a level but he is capable of running a bold race. CAPITAL GUARANTEE (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when fifth over 1800m at York a week-and-a-half ago. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. CRACK SHOT (2) finished 5 lengths from the winner in fifth last start after being in the firing line on the turn over 1600m at Sandown Park, an improvement on his 11th at Newmarket (Rowley) the run before. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves another chance. LIAMARTY DREAMS (9) knuckled down strongly to get within one length of the winner in second last start over 1400m at Leicester. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the better hopes.
