GOLDEN RAINBOW (1) could only manage tenth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1000m at Redcar, beaten only half a length after being in contention on the bend. Kaiya Fraser gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Nicely placed to take this out. FORTUNATE STAR (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in third over 1000m at Catterick. Likely improver with strong prospects. GYPSY NATION (11) is a 21-start maiden finding it tough to get off the mark but is knocking on the door, finishing fourth over 1000m at Nottingham last time out after being prominent at the turn. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. ASTAPOR (8) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his only appearance last prep at Wolverhampton over 1000m on March 14. Should be poised just off the lead. Sure to be thereabouts.
