YAASER (9) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1600m at Redcar when fresh from a break. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove hard to hold out. STARLINER (7) has been thereabouts without winning, the most recent offering a third at Thirsk over 1400m when he was beaten 2.25 lengths. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the main contenders. KEEP WARM (8) finished third over 1400m at Redcar at his most recent appearance on November 5. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
