FRENCH MASTER (7) built on a nice second when fresh from a spell two starts back at Newmarket (Rowley) with a win as public elect over 2800m at Goodwood three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. CHARLUS (9) is having his first run since March 14. Goes very well when fresh with three wins from three starts, the latest over 3218m at Naas at the start of last prep. Has ability and should be right in the finish. CABALLO DE MAR (12) has four wins and one placing from five races this preparation. Scored last start by 1.75 lengths at Haydock Park over 3250m after being handy all the way. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. PAPPANO (18) is back from a break of three-and-a-half months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when pulled up over 3400m in the G1 Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
