SPEEDY LOVER (10) was far from disgraced at his latest appearance over 2300m at this track, beaten just 2.5 metres into fourth. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. HOT TO TROT (8) settled in the leading division then drove to the lead and dug deep only to finish a very close second last start over 2300m at this track. Meets a comparable field and he can take this out. HES A HAMMER (9) was out of the money two starts ago then things went wrong last start when he broke and finished a long last over 1720m at Melton. Live chance in a similar assignment. VALLEY STAR (2) disappointed last time when ninth over 2300m at this track. Can make amends.
