BROWNIESATMIDNIGHT (10) won at Ballarat two runs ago before having his colours lowered at his latest appearance over 1609m at Geelong, beaten 22 metres. Will need an ounce of luck to slot in from this tricky draw. Certainly cannot be faulted after that last effort. Good enough to take out a race like this. ALWAYS BE BLAKEY (11) finished fourth last start, beaten 18 metres at Terang over 2180m. Talented and has plenty of upside. Expecting a very good run. DIDAFULL ONEEIGHTY (5) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by a nose at Terang over 1680m. ALL BLAZING GUNS (8) is next in line but might need a few good breaks from an awkward draw.
