READY TO SHINE (2) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at this track but couldn't back it up last start when eighth, beaten 11 lengths, over 1300m at Kembla Grange. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. FRENCH MARINE (5) finished seventh over 1250m at Newcastle at his most recent appearance on February 15. Looks a winning chance. UP THE FRONT (3) resumed over 1000m at this track where he showed little early speed but got home nicely to finish fifth, beaten 2.75 lengths. Should prove tough to hold out. DON'T FORGET JACK (1) is a handy type who resumes after a break of six months. At his last appearance he finished sixth over 1200m in the LR Brian Crowley Stakes at Randwick, beaten 19 lengths. Trialling well leading into this. Has scored first-up from a spell before. Settles back early but winds up late. Deserves respect on best figures.
