WINGS OF CARMEN (4) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a neck from the winner in third over 1400m at Wagga after being prominent at the corner. Has the talent to build on that encouraging effort last start. PROPRIETARY (5) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 8 lengths when 11th in a 1200m contest at Donald two weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. TORN (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish second, beaten 5 lengths, over 1406m at Benalla. One of the main contenders. WANNABEAPOODLE (9) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1400m at Gundagai, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Looks to be in the right race so expect another big run.
