ESPRIT DU JOUR (5) has been primed for a good return after placing in two trials leading into this. Rates a top hope and should be in the finish. GREEN LABEL (6) took advantage of a low draw last time and led throughout, saluting by a head over 1000m at Sunshine Coast. Sure to run well again. DUBAWI'S GIRL (8) got off the mark over 1400m at Gold Coast last start, scoring by half a length. Fiona Sandkuhl was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Harder here but should be involved in the finish. LIGHTNING STRIKES (4) got the job done in grand style last start, scoring by a head over this journey at Toowoomba after stalking the lead.
