LYLES (11) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1200m at Kembla Grange, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Adam Hyeronimus was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Big chance to go back-to-back. CONTALDO (6) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Joseph Pride stable and gelded since last run. Resumes after finishing sixth at Deauville at his last run eight months ago. Goes very well when fresh with two wins from two starts, the latest over 1300m at Kembla Grange at the start of last prep. Placed in a recent trial. Worth plenty of thought.
