KNIGHTS ARMOUR (7) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fifth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 2000m in the LR Wagga Wagga Gold Cup. Suited here and expected to prove tough to stop. BLACK RUN (1) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 1800m at Hawkesbury. One of the main contenders. KOSUKE (8) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 2100m at Gosford after being in the firing line on the turn. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to be right there at the finish. STAY TUNED (11) was a winner over 2132m at Goulburn last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by half a length. Should give a great sight.
