VANLEE (8) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and finished second, beaten a neck, over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards. DYAMI (2) is yet to break through after three career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at this track two starts back when resuming before finishing fifth over 1250m at Canterbury last start. Should be in the mix. FROM THE PEAK (4) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing in the placings over 1200m at Newcastle four months ago. Fitter for two lead-up trials, including a win. Sure to be competitive. MISS JONES (5) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten 2 lengths, over 1250m at Canterbury. Well-placed and can feature in the finish.
