ERNAUX (10) has not raced since her debut back on March 26 when she finished fourth over 1100m at Randwick Kensington. Better for the run and can improve sharply. PENPEL (1) will find this a little easier than her second on debut four weeks ago, beaten 2.5 lengths at the end of 1000m at this track. Has a wide gate to overcome but she should be in the finish again. KNOWING LOOK (3) is a two-year-old filly facing the starter for the first time. From a strong family that has produced at black type level, being by Justify from the former top race mare Luminous Eyes. Coming along well at the trials with a minor placing at her most recent at Randwick. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Looks one of the better chances despite a tricky barrier. TAHURANGI (9) is a filly by Territories out of Weeping Waters who is at the races for the first time today. Has trialled two times leading into this. Could pay to watch for market confidence.
