Finds the right race this time and can make amends. EARLY WARNING (8) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth, beaten 6 lengths, over 2150m at Terang. Was outdashed but got going late and looks suited by the extra ground. Among the chances and will be tough to stop. FERAGO (1) hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Moonee Valley over 2500m five-and-a-half weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a recent trial win at Ballarat. Should be about the money.
