BIG OPTION (1) raced on the speed and kept going to score by a head last time out over 1200m at Naracoorte. Goes up a rung or two but he is worth serious consideration. SMART RETURN (11) has been thereabouts recently, the latest result a fourth beaten 3 lengths at Donald over 1000m. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Must be respected.
