CHAMPAGNE WISHES (15) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before fading to finish fourth, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1200m at Pakenham. Sure to take running down. KARASMATIC (4) was well in commission when resuming last start over 1300m at Seymour when second, beaten 3.5 lengths. Comes down a level this time. Should be in the finish. SMARTICON (6) finished second last start over 1200m at Moe when he worked home well, beaten 7 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. EN FLIQUE (9) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing second over 1412m at Echuca. Likely to be about the mark again.
