YAM (8) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when seventh, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1300m at Wodonga. Has further improvement to come and will be tough to beat. RELEASE THE BRAKES (14) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished third, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 1400m at Kerang. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves her chance. TEETOTAL (5) finished 3 lengths adrift in sixth last time over 1300m at Wodonga in a disappointing performance. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
