Likely contender with strong prospects. DIAMOND CARAT (6) improved sharply on her ninth two starts back at Corowa with a win over 1800m at Wagga Riverside a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 5.5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is good enough to cope. CRAFT (1) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 2.75 lengths back in third over 1613m at Sapphire Coast. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BELLMAN (2) finished second last start over 1600m at Albury, beaten 2 lengths. Will be rock-hard fit. Nicely placed to run well again.
