LIGHTNING LIZARD (7) hasn't been too far away of late, the latest effort a fifth, beaten 1.2 lengths, at Albury over 1000m. Has been thereabouts without winning and gets his chance to break through. MOTHER JOY (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1150m at Leeton, beaten 5.5 lengths into sixth. Worth noting Teaghan Martin goes aboard. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. CHAIRMAN'S CHOICE (9) is back at the races for the first time since February 22. Scored over 1200m at Towong at the start of last prep. Worth plenty of thought. CRIMOSA (15) finished second at Carrathool two runs back but was less effective last time over 1000m at Albury, finishing 2.75 lengths back in sixth. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
