GABBY'S READY (8) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over this journey at this track. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. THE KAMIKAZE (6) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 2.75 lengths over 950m at Cairns. Looks well placed and he cannot be discounted. RED SHIRAZ (11) is back at the races for the first time since October 5. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1100m at Gatton.
