ESPRIT DU JOUR (6) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 1200m at Warwick when coming back from a break. Will be tough to stop again. BLANTONS RUN (1) gave away a considerable start over 1200m at Warwick last time before hitting the line well to finish sixth. Will drift back but is going to be hard to hold out. LIGHTNING STRIKES (4) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 1200m at Warwick, beaten 1.4 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. MOET AT MIDNIGHT (10) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1100m at Gatton, beaten 1.4 lengths into fourth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
