Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MOOTESSA (8) is building towards a win with placings at her last two runs, the latest effort a third over 1600m at Gatton when beaten 3.5 lengths. Meets a tougher line-up this time but a bold showing is expected. COOK ISLAND GIRL (12) turned in a nice run when fresh from a spell two starts back at Grafton then missed the placings last time when 4 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1690m at Ipswich. Fitter and deserves another chance. KATDEEL (6) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1650m at Beaudesert after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks to be in the right race so expect another big run.
